Native born Texan Melissa O'Brien grew up in and around the city of Dallas. Having lived in a number of homes throughout the area, she and her husband purchased their first Oak Cliff home in 1999. After working for 16 years at the largest family law firm in the Southwest, Melissa realized her true calling when she and her husband later purchased an East Kessler home in much need of love. Through neighborhood research, they found a home high on a hill and spent the next 3 years in extensive renovations. During the renovating process, Melissa fell in love with the idea of helping others attain their goal of homeownership.
